Complicated trade procedures reflected in bureaucratic delays and “red tape” pose a burden for traders. Therefore, addressing unnecessary costs by streamlining and simplifying procedures is essential for benefiting of free trade.  Cutting down waiting times at BCPs/CCPs is one of the main goals of the set of activities supporting implementation of the Additional Protocol 5 on Trade Facilitation.
