A regional 2-day workshop for preparation of the MR validation and first validation visit was held on 10 -11 July 2018 in Budva, Montenegro. A team of 21 validators, named by all CEFTA Parties was and prepared for the MR validations that will take place as of September and October 2018. The validations will be conducted in the selected CEFTA Pilots in the following schedule:

Moldova – September 5-7, 2018

North Macedonia – September 18-21, 2018

Serbia – October 2-5, 2018

The workshop was the initial step for preparing the validators for all missions, with the emphasis placed on the first validation mission, to be held in Chisinau, Moldova in September 2018. Moldovan validators had the task to present the AEO program in Moldova, followed by questions and discussion from other validators. The validation missions will be a solid base for learning about AEO programs in CEFTA Parties, both for parties which already implement it and those who are introducing the program in their practice.
