CEFTA Week 2016 will be held in Montenegro on 6-9 December comprising a number of meetings leading up to the CEFTA Joint Committee meeting which would address different aspects of CEFTA and would cater to different interests including government officials, international organisations, the business community, the diplomatic community, the academic world and journalists. The event called CEFTA Week is to be held on 7 December and will provide an excellent opportunity to highlight the progress achieved by the CEFTA Parties in the last 10 years and to disseminate the current regional and global challenges in trade related areas such as investments, agriculture, customs and rules of origin and services. At the same time CEFTA Week will focus in particular on the main priorities of the Montenegro Chair for 2016 i.e. liberalisation of trade in services, the development and improvement of the mechanism for elimination of trade barriers and for ensuring transparency in all areas. The conclusions and recommendations of the CEFTA Week shall be considered later on to the various CEFTA structures for action. Official invitations to CEFTA Week 2016 have been issued by the Chair in Office in early November. Below you will find the preliminary schedule of events.
