November 20, 2018

After successful completion of three MR AEO validation pilots in Moldova, North Macedonia and Serbia, the project moved forward to enhance the capacities of CEFTA Parties in AEO implementation, particularly in areas that have been recognized as vital for AEO implementation. Two trainings were organized for all CEFTA Parties in Tirana and Belgrade, in mid-November 2018.

A training programme was organized as a two-day training for customs administrations’ officials to address their needs predominately covering safety and security AEO criteria and requirements. These include physical and data/IT security but also including sessions addressing most problematic issues related to financial solvency, the systems of managing commercial and transport records in line with the related AEO criteria.
