The Subcommittee on Agriculture contributes to the promotion of trade and facilitates trade in agricultural products within CEFTA.  It discusses and coordinates to the maximum extent possible, policies on agriculture and the protection of plant health, animal health and food safety and other relevant areas.  The Subcommittee operates in accordance with its official Terms of Reference as set out in Annex 7 of JC Decision 1/2015 and reports to the Committee on Trade Facilitation.
