Montenegro, as the CEFTA Chair in Office for 2016 has agreed to cooperate with the London School of Economics to promote research on trade issues among the CEFTA Parties by establishing an academic award to be presented at the Joint Committee Meeting in November 2016.
This activity is part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of CEFTA that aim to ensure that the achievements of this ambitious and modern free trade agreement over the past 10 years are recognised and that its potential to contribute to greater economic development and European integration is promoted. A number of actions to improve the outreach and visibility of CEFTA have been considered by the CEFTA Parties, one of which is this €5,000 “Award for Academic Articles” for the best three/four articles written on CEFTA
