The third CEFTA Joint Committee Meeting under the Chairmanship of Montenegro, supported by the Ministry of Economy will be held on 29 October in Podgorica. The Experts meeting will precede the Ministerial meeting on 28 October.

The main items on the Agenda will be the implementation of the CEFTA with special emphasis on the implementation of the Chairmanship Programme in 2009, functioning of the CEFTA Structures, open issues and announcement of the Serbian Chairmanship Programme for 2010.

It is envisaged that the initialing of the Additional Protocol and Annex 3 will be followed by the signing of these documents. This signing represents the final step towards accomplishing of one of the most important priorities set by the Montenegrin Chairmanship.

The “CEFTA Week”, a series of promotional events, workshops and seminars supported by, among others, OECD, World Bank, European Commission and EBRD will be held on 27 and 28 October.
